What do you need delivered?
What you receive

The deliverable matters more than the flight

You are paying for evidence you can act on. Every job ends with clear, organised outputs, in the formats your team already uses.

Close-up imagery

High-resolution stills and video of every roof slope, elevation and component, from angles you cannot get from the ground.

Clear, annotated reports

Each defect located, photographed and given a priority, so you know what needs doing first.

Maps and 3D models

Scaled orthomosaics, surface models and measurements in formats your CAD and GIS software can open.

Thermal data

Heat loss, flat roof moisture and solar faults, with every thermal image paired with a normal photo.

Updraft Monitor

Repeat flights for a fixed monthly fee

For construction sites, stockpiles, solar farms and estates. The same flight path every visit, a shared folder of every survey, and a short change report each time.

How Updraft Monitor works
  • Consistent viewpoints, so change is obvious
  • Costs less per visit than one-off flights
  • Weather clause: missed visits are rebooked
Safety and compliance

Planned properly, every flight

Airspace checked

Every site is checked against current airspace restrictions. Where an airport’s permission is needed, we get it before the visit.

Planned and risk-assessed

A site-specific flight plan and risk assessment for every job, and your inductions and permits completed where required.

Safe distances

Flights are planned to keep clear of people who are not involved, with a controlled take-off and landing area.

Landowner permission

We agree access and take-off points with the owner or site manager, and brief neighbours where it helps.

Frequently asked questions

What areas do you cover?

We work across Kent, Bexley, Essex & Hertfordshire, including Dartford, Swanley, Gravesend, Bexley, Bexleyheath, Welling, Grays, Basildon, Billericay, Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, and the towns in between. Send us your site postcode if you are not sure.

Why use a drone instead of scaffolding or a cherry picker?

For inspections and surveys, a drone is faster, cheaper and safer: nobody works at height, nothing has to be put up, and you get a complete photographic record. Where a defect needs hands-on work, the report shows exactly where to send someone.

Can you fly anywhere?

Most sites, with planning. Some areas near airports need permission, and every flight needs the landowner’s agreement and a safe take-off area. We check all of this before we quote.

How much does a drone survey cost?

Roof inspections start from £250 and site mapping from £700, excluding VAT. Prices exclude VAT. Every job is quoted in writing before we fly, based on the site, the access and what you need delivered.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Drones cannot fly safely in strong wind or rain, and thermal surveys need particular conditions. If the weather is wrong on the day, we rebook the flight.

Also available: aerial photography and filming for property, marketing, weddings, events and sports clubs.
